The Love of a Wash Day

First i Pre-poo with my mixture of EVOO and EVCO on her scalp and hair. i then put some Vo5 Herbal Escapes Balancing Conditioner on the ends and shaft of her hair and set her under the drawer for 20 mins. i wanted to try to restore as much moisture as i could do to the twist Mi Mi recently had in.

Mi Mi then shampooed with Organix awapuhi ginger SHAMPOO using an applicator bottle to apply the shampoo directly to her scalp. She shampooed 2x's. After that she applied Organix awapuhi ginger INSTANT RECOVERY MASK to condition. Once rinsed completely i squeezed the excess water using a cotton t-shirt, then applied BIOTERA Reconstructing Conditioner and set her under the dryer for 25 minutes. This conditioner improves hair texture and manageability while restoring body, bounce and shine. i then did a rinse with a black coffee and tea mixture. Next, i applied INFUSIUM 23 Pro-Vitamin Leave-In Hair Treatment and detangled her hair. Once her hair was tangle free i applied some wrapping lotion and Bantu knotted Mi Mi's entire hair. i set her under the dryer for about 40 minutes then let her hair air dry.

The next morning Mi Mi's hair was still a little damp. i didn't have time for her to sit back under the dryer (school morning) so i created a quick bun and sent her on her way. That afternoon i had intentions to re-Bantu knot her hair and have her sit back under the drawer but, she insisted that i just flat iron it.
*Note: She really wasn't trying to get back under that dryer...next time she will just have to set under there no matter what! I'm trying to not flat iron as much.

Style

i first applied some EVCO and Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Moisturizing Lotion to her shaft and ends. i then sprayed on Silk Elements Olive Heat Protection Spay and Cantu Shea Butter Flat Iron Spray  to Mi Mi's entire head. i parted larger sections to try and use less heat.

Overall her hair this wash day came out good. Moisture was added back. Goal for next wash day No flat iron!
