First Tea Rinse

Lately I have been doing some reading of my liked blogs and came across a few post about tea rinses and the benefits of them. So last week I relaxed Mi Mi's hair and thought this would be a great opportunity to try out a tea rinse.
I used Lipton's 100% Natural Tea. I wasn't quit sure if this was the right kind of tea as far as "black tea" but I decide to try it anyway.

I did the rinse after I conditioned her hair. I then rinsed the tea out with cool water to lock it in. Immediately I could  see an improvement in her hair. It was shiner and smoother.

As the week went on, I also have noticed that shedding has decreased a little.  Even though I think from reading on her up coming wash day I will try green tea instead.
This was my first time so please if I did something incorrectly or if I should do anything differently please let me know. Overall I believe this is something that I am going to incorporate into not only Mi Mi's hair routine but mine as well.

I do want to ask...

...if it is okay to bounce back and forth between different teas?

Here are a few pics after Mi Mi's hair is flat ironed and styled.
