Grandma's Hair Day

Note to All: This is the last behind the timeline post and I am up to date.

This past Sunday my grandma called me up and said "Kedja I need you to put a color in my hair for me I have to sing tomorrow in church." Grandma  must always look good when she steps out. whether it be to church or out for the night. Looking good from head to toe is a MUST!

Grandma is completely natural. She is about 50% gray. and rocks a short afro. She usually puts in a black semi-permanent color but this time (since i was doing it and it only made more sense) i used a permanent to avoid the need to color so frequently. I used New Dark and Lovely Fade-Resistant Rich Conditioning Color Grandma chose to make a little change as well and go with 373 Brown Sable, which is a dark brown color about a number 4.

To help Grandma achieve more healthier natural hair i also had her purchase Taliah Waajid Clean & Natural Herbal Hair Wash which is sulfate free and the Enhancing Herbal Conditioner. I have read great things about Taliah Waajid product. My plan is to try these products out and see how they do for Grandma's hair. I will keep you all posted. Overall the color came out great. The only thing was the color looked more black to me. I think it was because her original color was already dark. She lover that the gray was gone and that the color took well. I liked that she was happy.
