The Love of a Wash Day

This wash day i wanted to put a little protein as well as moisture back into Mi Mi's hair do to this is the first wash day since her relaxer.
i started with a pre-poo of oils applied to Mi Mi's hair for about 35 minutes. i wanted to use some DIY conditioners to achieve my goal so, i started with an edited version of the Hair Mask i did on Mi Mi's hair before i created her Braided Updo. For this version instead of mayonnaise i used plain yogurt. The rest of the recipe i kept the same. i used this as the co-wash.

Next i rinsed really well and then applied a deep conditioner. This DIY deep conditioner is a Hair Smoothie i found on Pinterest.
i then sat Mi Mi under the drawer for about 30 minutes. It smelled really good.

Then i rinsed w/ a tea rinse of black and green tea and sealed with cool water. Last but not least i rapped her hair using a cotton t-shirt to remove any excess water.
After about 10 minutes i removed the t-shirt and applied repairing awapuhi ginger PENETRATING OIL and EVCO to her hair shaft and ends. i then wrapped her hair into a bun and let it air dry.
